How discovery works¶
Connect a data source¶
Upload a DMC scan or connect an Azure Migrate project.
Dr Migrate processes the data¶
Internal algorithms enrich and de-duplicate the discovered estate.
Your estate becomes available¶
The environment appears in Estate Explorer, Workload Mapping and your reports.
You can use DMC and Azure Migrate at the same time. Dr Migrate combines them into a single estate.

For your first pass through Discover, connect a data source and then map your workloads:
