Remove Dr Migrate Marketplace (Customer Hosted)
Overview¶
Remove a Marketplace Customer Hosted deployment (Managed Application) from Azure.
Who is this for: Azure Subscription Owners and Marketplace Admins. Time to complete: ~10–15 minutes.
If you use Dr Migrate SaaS, manage cancellation in Manage SaaS License.
Prerequisites¶
- Application Admin
- Subscription Owner
- Fabric Admin
- Marketplace Admin
- Dr Migrate Admin
Back up important information¶
Export any critical information before removal:
- App to Server Map
- Wave Plan Summary
- Express and Advanced Reports
Remove the Managed Application¶
Deleting the Managed Application removes all Dr Migrate resources (VM, Key Vault, Storage Account) in the managed resource group.
Open Managed Application¶
In Azure Portal, open the Dr Migrate Managed Application. From Overview, select the managed resource group link.
Confirm Delete¶
In the Managed Application blade, click Delete and confirm.
Verify Resource Group Cleanup¶
Open the managed resource group to verify resources have been deleted.
Validate results¶
- Managed Application no longer appears in Azure Portal
- Managed resource group is empty or deleted
Troubleshooting¶
- Delete blocked by locks: Remove resource locks from the managed resource group
- Dependent resources remain: Manually delete resources remaining in the managed resource group
